Hi, I’m Grace Catherine (she/her)
and I am a Latina Marriage & Family Therapist and professional singer based in Los Angeles, CA. I am a proud sex-positive and LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist. My therapy practice is centered on creating safe, nonjudgmental spaces for clients to reflect, process, and grow. Walking alongside my clients on their mental health journeys is an experience I don’t take lightly.
My personal experiences in individual, family, and group therapies have profoundly shaped my personal life and illuminated the power of healing work. My father’s experience growing up poor in an abusive, alcoholic household without access to mental health care further fuels my passion for making therapy more accessible and less stigmatized.
As a professional singer, I’ve learned to value vulnerability, connection, and storytelling—qualities that now shape my work as a therapist. After earning Bachelor’s degrees in Music and Communication from Stanford University, and a Masters in Music from Berklee College of Music, I moved to Los Angeles to pursue my musical dreams. In the midst of that creative journey, I realized with clarity that I also wanted to be a therapist. I went on to earn my MS in Counseling Psychology from Mount Saint Mary’s University in Los Angeles. My clinical work began at Covenant House California, an organization serving unhoused youth ages 18–25, and continued at Aviva Family & Children’s Services, an agency focused on supporting underserved youth and families throughout Los Angeles County.
I consider myself a “deep feeler”—someone who experiences and processes emotions with intensity, depth, and sensitivity. This allows me to bring deep empathy into the therapy room and remain highly attuned to my clients’ experiences.
When I’m not working or singing, I can be found out seeing live music, doing yoga, making my abuela’s arroz con gandules recipe or baking my family’s secret chocolate chip banana bread recipe, playing soccer, spending time with friends and family, running, and hiking.
